PAYE and VAT
It’s not just bookkeeping and accountancy either. We will also run your PAYE/Payroll including producing wage slips and year end filing – that’s another huge headache out of the way.
And with the new PAYE RTI rules in place – being late for filing PAYE returns results in mandatory fines of £100 (or more depending on how late the RTI returns are for and how much is owed in tax and NIC contributions).
The same applies to late submission of your self-assessment return – and remember, you’re going to need to do one of those even if you’re a company director.
We will also handle your VAT returns (Monthly, Quarterley or Annualy) including entering and compiling your transactions and submitting them to HMRC on your behalf.

(our costs are completely transparent – you will always know what you’re paying for, and we will break it down into small monthly payments to make it easier).

We charge a fixed monthly fee based on the level of support you require and the level of work. If the work increases we may increase your cost with fair warning, but we will also decrease it if it lessens. So you only pay for what you need, and you will almost certainly pay less than any equivalent local or national accountancy service (because we use state of the art accounting software and in house staff to do everything – without the overhead of expensive and costly offices).

As mentioned, your books are brought up to date in-house – we don’t outsource anything, so you can be assured we do things right.

The new Pensions Autoenrolment scheme is overseen by The Pensions Regulator, and if you are an employer, it is mandatory to optin and ensure your workers are covered. There are very few exceptions to this, but we can help you make the right decisions and take the right actions.

How We Process Your Accounts and Bookkeeping
You have a number of options, but the simplest and most cost and time effective is to send your receipts electronically. This can be done simply by forwarding everything you get to our dedicated email address. We take care of the rest.
Nowadays, HMRC do not require anyone to keep paper copies of their documents. Everything can be stored electronically, which means less storage is needed in most cases. This applies to invoices for your sales as well as receipts for your purchases.
You can also drop off your documents direct to our office if that’s what you’d prefer, then pick them up again next time when you drop the next pile of paperwork off with us. We’re here to make looking after your books as simple and as friendly as we can.

How We Got Started With Our Accountancy Practice In Wisbech and the Fens
Here’s my little known story from a job to a business…
When I started my first company, QPL Express Couriers, I decided to make it more efficient by programming an accounting application.
At the time I was only interested in becoming a rock star! I played guitar in a band (and was very young – 23).
I started that business to keep my band going. The business grew faster than the band, so eventually I gave up the band.
The accounting software morphed into a software company, which morphed again into a bigger software company (Accountz.com).
And by that time I had also passed my various bookkeeping exams and became a Fellow of the International Association of Bookkeepers.
I retired from my software company and decided to help other people start businesses (through TheNumberOneClub.com).
I got the business bug again, and set up a number of small enterprises.
